Street Painting Festival in Toulon (May 25th and 26th, 2013)

This year took place the 4th edition of the Street Painting Festival in Toulon. The only festival of the kind in France, please! It is a short-lived street art of from the 16th century in Italy when the artists drew with chalk on the squares of churches. It’s a very long and very physical work.

On Saturday the weather was not convenient to have a walk on the Place d’Armes but Sunday was more clement. If it is not raining the paintings can be visible during several days.

The little secret so that pigments hold the ground… they are mixed with some lemonade which by drying sticks pigments on the ground...
