Most of those who knew the Night-Market of The Sablettes Beaches in La Seyne sur Mer a few years ago will probably agree to say that it lost of its interest over time. It became a gathering of retailers of a very relative interest ! The municipality seems to understand the point as this year they set up a novelty which restores a lot of attraction in the path of the Park Braudel every Friday evening of July and August : "The Square of The Artists ".
"The Square of The Artists" is a space dedicated to any forms of creations : fashion, design, decoration, photo, visual artists, leather craft, potter .... About forty stalls are planned for the artists, craftsmen and creators (retailers are forbidden).
This first edition is a real success and let's hope that it will be renewed next year !
This is an opportunity for me to tell you about a crush I had last year in Bandol for Lady Gum who exposes at the moment at The Sablettes Beaches.
After living ten years in Guadeloupe, Morgane, wanted to create hypo-allergenic jewels that can be wore easily during the summer. She had the idea to use silicone gum, the same that we use in the kitchen and that allows to pass from a temperature of -30°c to +200°c! Let's say that those jewels are perfect for summer! Sand, sea, sun, showers, or sun cream are no longer a problem ...
