We had a nice surprise on this Saturday evening at the Napoleon Fortress in La Seyne sur Mer.
If you like Jazz Music you will appreciate the
free jazz concerts that take place regularly in this beautiful building from the 18th century.
After a burning day, the smell of the heat spreads slowly at nightfall and the
long evenings of June are perfect fot this kind of
events.
The Jazz Workshop of La Seyne sur Mer organise these saturday evenings to gather amateurs and professionals of any ages and any
levels and play together. This Saturday
was a big evening dedicated to Duke Ellington with in special guest VirginiaTeychéné and her enchanting voice.
This
historical place is usually a gallery of contemporary art and also
welcomes festivals as the Jazz festival or the Cuban Festival
" Bayamo " in July. The Jazz Club Evenings take place regularly
all year long and you can follow the next date here.
Just so you know : plan to come with a small car or a 4 wheels to park along the path as the parking lot if quite small !
